TLR PAC Endorses James White in House District 19

(Austin, TX) Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC announced its endorsement of State Rep. James White today in the Republican Primary Election for State House District 19. The election will be held on March 6, 2012. In making the endorsement, TLR PAC Chairman Richard J. Trabulsi, Jr., said:

“James White is a military veteran, a principled conservative and an energetic Member of the Texas House of Representatives, who provides an effective voice for East Texas in the Legislature. As an educator and advocate for economic development, James understands the important role of lawsuit reform in keeping the state’s economy strong and fostering business growth and job creation. James supports the tort reforms that have strengthened our civil justice system and TLR PAC is proud to endorse him.”

Rep. White resides in Tyler County where he maintains a small cattle ranch and is completing doctoral studies in political science at the University of Houston. He has taught American government and free enterprise economics and coached football and basketball at Woodville High School. Rep. White is a retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer who served his country in assignments throughout the world, most notably from 1987-90 in the Berlin Brigade.

House District 19 includes Hardin, Jasper, Newton, Polk and Tyler Counties.
