Amanda Reicheck (Democrat Challenger)
Amanda Reicheck is an attorney and shareholder at Cole Reicheck PLLC. She is a former attorney at Tanner and Associates PC, Waters and Kraus LLP and Janette Johnson and Associates. She is a former clerk for Texas Rural Legal Aid.
Reicheck received a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, a master’s degree from North Carolina State University and a law degree with honors from Texas Tech University. She has been licensed by the State Bar of Texas since 2003 and is board certified in labor and employment law.
Molly Francis (Republican Incumbent)
Justice Molly Francis has served on the Fifth Court of Appeals since 2001. She is a former judge of the 283rd Judicial District Court and Dallas County Criminal Court No. 9. She was a briefing attorney at the First Court of Appeals, an appellate section prosecutor in the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and briefing attorney on the First Court of Appeals.
Francis received her bachelor’s degree and law degree from Baylor University. She has been licensed by the State Bar of Texas since 1981 and is board certified in criminal law and criminal appellate law.
